Iaspis Umeå is a Swedish exchange programme with the task to create dialogue between visual arts and sculptural (FORM) artists and international contemporary art. Iaspis activity comprises an international studio programme in Sweden, support for exhibitions and work programmes overseas for artists working in Sweden, plus a public programme of lectures, exhibitions, and publications. Iaspis is the Artists funds international programme and is therfore a part of the Artist Committee.

Iaspis Umeå is a cooporation between Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, Verkligheten, Bildmuseet, Museum Anna Nordlander and Umeå Municipality, where the actors among other things organizes a seminiar each year.
